I have always been passionate about giving back to my community. I love to involve myself with organizations such as the South African Guide Dogs Association, many other sports NGOs across South Africa, and I also make donations to small institutions whenever I can.
I am also very involved in community projects such as the organisation of running clinics for blind athletes and other educational events for athletes with disabilities.
After the 2020 Paralympic Games myself, alongside three sought-out partners, decided to launch the Team Louzanne Coetzee Foundation. The aim of the foundation is to give back to rural, disadvantaged disabled communities across South Africa and to provide much needed education to the country’s aspiring para-athletes. The foundation also aims to empower differently-abled athletes with ample opportunities to compete and get involved in a variety of para-sports where possible.
